Improvisation is the jazz of theatre

For Centuries, Improvisation has been theatre created by actors for actors. It is simply acting without a script. In this workshop we will explore tools that can help bring our life experience to the work. Playwrights are told: ‘write about what you know’ well, we can improvise about what we know by incorporating our own unique and vibrant truth. Exciting and inspired performance comes from the courage to work outside our comfort zone – Let’s rediscover the play inside the play.
