Frequently asked questions:
What is your availability on ___ date?
Feel free to look through our calendar, above, before emailing us
about rental availability. The calendar is updated before any
reservation is complete, so if it's not listed on the schedule, it's
very likely available.
Do certain renters get priority in the schedule?
Yes. Long-term renters (those blocking out 3 months or longer) get
priority over everyone else. Beyond that, it's all first-come,
first-served.
Do you have daytime weekday availability?
Yes! We have tons. Most of our renters are daytimes on the
weekends and evenings during the week, so the weekday daytimes are
usually very open.
Is music allowed?
As there are
four spaces and other people in the building, we try to
keep the noise level to a minimum. We request that no bands or
musicals rehearse in our space, so as to not disturb other renters
or other residents in the building. The only exception would be
Studio C, which is separate from the other three spaces.
Can I rent your space out for other events aside from rehearsals?
Yes, of course. You cannot rent it for performances, as we do not
have the proper licenses for that, but if you have, for instance, a
yoga class or an art class or art opening you'd like to host there,
or would like to use it to build props for your show, you are welcome to rent from us. No parties, though, sorry.
I host
a dance group or a yoga class. Can we use your studio?
You are
welcome to use the studio, but we must warn you, the floors are just
painted wood, nothing like a sprung wood floor or anything, so keep
that in mind.
